Who is Weeping Willow Water?
To the residents of the Hill Country, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for every opportunity you have given me. Thank you, Dripping Springs, for providing me with a new place to call home.
From the beginning…
The company was formed out of necessity—not just for the public, but for me as well. After spending 20 years in Corporate America, I knew I needed a change. It just wasn’t the right fit for me. One night, while hanging out with friends, someone said, “You should move back to Austin and start a bulk water transportation company.” I thought, “Why not?” and knew right then that life was steering me in a new direction.
In 2018, I met the Millers. They were patient and kind and showed me the ropes. It can be physically demanding and it gets hot. However, the people I meet, make it all worth it. With the massive migration to the Hill Country. Traffic has undoubtedly increased and everyone is in a rush. To avoid allowing frustration to take over. I tell myself, I live in a town full of surgeons. Rushing to the hospital to save a life.
My favorite aspect of the job, are the connections I make. Most days, we are greeted with smiles and kindness. We get a glimpse into their lives and families. I truly appreciate that.
I wanted to build something I’m proud of with Weeping Willow Water Supply. In a customer service oriented industry. I knew the success would depend on the experience of our customers and the team. You have to care about people. It’s not something I can teach. It’s got to be who you are. You have to do the right thing. Even when no one is watching.
To the residents of the Hill Country, I extend my gratitude, for every opportunity you have given me. Thank you Dripping Springs, for providing me with a new place to call home.
